A New Jersey native, actor, entertainer, and recent recipient of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society Man of the Year Award, Charlie Schlatter, a cancer survivor himself, has been appearing in movies, television shows, and cartoons since the late 1980’s.

On television, he may be best known for playing Dr. Jesse Travis on the CBS long running hit series Diagnosis Murder alongside the legendary Dick Van Dyke – or maybe it’s from starring as the title role in NBC’s Ferris Bueller with Jennifer Aniston. He was most recently seen in FX’s FEUD and co-starred as Dr. Dick on Shameless.

Film fans may know him from his debut, as Michael J. Fox’s younger brother, in Bright Lights, Big City or from starring opposite George Burns in the film 18 Again! Soon after he starred in Chris Columbus’ Heartbreak Hotel where he kidnapped Elvis for his mom (Tuesday Weld) and went on to be featured in many other films including Police Academy: Mission To Moscow.

In the 1990’s, Charlie began building a prolific voice-over career on TV and radio, landing roles in the CBS primetime series Fish Police with John Ritter and Captain Planet opposite Ed Asner as Hoggish Greedly Jr. Since that time, he has voiced countless roles on Phinneas and Ferb, Scooby-Do, Curious George, FairlyOdd Parents, Higglytown Heroes, Sonic The Hedgehog, Clifford The Big Red Dog, Spector in Ape Escape, Chino on Kim Possible, Cameron on Bratz, Timmy on Winx Club, Be-Bop on Butt Ugly Martians, Hawk on A.T.O.M., Tommy in Pet Alien, Dr. Mindbender and Wild Bill in GI Joe Renegades, Dr. Feinstein and others in The Loud House, Howard Stark in Avengers Assemble, Vertabreak in Transformers, Ace Bunny in Loonatics Unleashed and as Kevin 11 in the original Ben 10. He is most proud of his work as Disney’s Kick Buttowski and to date is the most recorded Flash – appearing in The Batman, Batman Unlimited, Lego Batman (including Nintendo games) and Justice League Action opposite Mark Hamill.

Charlie’s work can also be found in many video games including Scorcery, Wonderful 101’s, Over The Hedge, Metal Gear Solid, and the soon to be released Mafia reboot.

Charlie is known also fondly known by kids and adults alike as Buzz the Honeynut Cheerios Bee, and now, to top it all off, he was just named as the official voice for Steven Spielberg’s E.T.!
